STANDARD AND POOR’S IMPROVES PESQUERA EXALMAR RATING
Lima, April 15th, 2019.- Pesquera Exalmar announced that Standard & Poor’s improved the company’s rating, as reported in its latest report released today, increasing the rating from “B-” to “B”, with a “stable” outlook.
The mentioned report highlights that “Exalmar has improved sharply its financial risk profile, capital structure, and liquidity position “, while “the new syndicated loan for US $ 110 million will help the company reduce its debt even faster than expected”.
It also notes that “the upgrade reflects the company’s better-than-expected operating and financial performance” and that the stable outlook suggests “Exalmar will continue to deliver a solid operating, financial performance and cash flow generation thanks to favorable fishing conditions, higher purchases from third parties, and some operating efficiencies”.
